Weston-super-Mare and Bristol Rovers have never faced each other in a competitive match, but have played a number of pre-season friendlies. They were due to meet in a warmup games before the 2008-09 and 2009-10 seasons, but both matches were canceled. They did however provide opposition for Rovers in the next three pre-seasons.
