Tom Parrinello (full name Tommaso Salvatore Parrinello) is an English defender of Italian descent who came through the Rovers youth system at the Bristol Academy of Sport. He was promoted to the first-team squad in the summer of 2006, the same year as Sean Rigg.

Tom's only appearance for the first team came on 1 December 2007 in the 5-1 FA Cup second round victory over Rushden & Diamonds, when he came on as an 84th-minute substitute for Craig Disley.

He remained at Rovers until midway through the 2008-09 season, when a loan move to Weston-super-Mare became permanent.

Career[]

Tom joined Weston-super-Mare on loan for a month on 12 December 2008. He played the full 90 minutes in all of Weston's games during that period, and upon its conclusion the deal was extended for a further month. He made the move to the Woodspring Stadium permanent on 10 February 2009, when he was released from his contract by Rovers.

Following Weston's relegation from the Conference South in 2010 Tom was snapped up by Conference North side Gloucester City in time for the 2010–11 season, but he left The Tigers after just one year with the club, joining Mangotsfield United in 2011.
