At the time he was unattached, having been released by Luton Town in June 2008. He spent two months as a contracted player, but he picked up a knee injury during a friendly fixture against Bristol City on 19 January 2009, and was released from the club shortly afterwards.

Langley has represented Jamaica 12 times during his career, qualifying through his father.

Career[]

Langley's career started at his local club Queens Park Rangers whom he had started with as a youngster. He remained at the London club until 2003. He moved to Welsh club Cardiff City for £200,000, which raised to £250,000 based on appearances. He returned to QPR in 2005 but would remain there for just one season. He moved to Luton Town on a free transfer in 2006. He suffered damaged cruciate knee ligaments in pre-season 2007 and made just one appearance for Luton during the 2007-08 season. Following his release by Luton he had a trial with Hereford United during the 2008 pre-season, but failed to win a contract with the club.

He joined Rovers after two trial spells during the 2008-09 season. First in August, which was cut short due to a hamstring injury and the second in November when he scored in a reserve game against Cheltenham Town, and after his release he linked up with former Rovers man Ian Holloway during a trial at Blackpool. He failed to win a contract with the Seasiders, but after a few months away from the game he was signed by Thai Premier League side Pattaya United, who picked him up in time for the 2010 season.

After a failed attempt at earning a contract with Aberdeen in March 2011 he returned to the top flight of Thai football to play for TOT SC (Telephone Organisation of Thailand Sports Club).
