Reginald Thompson-Lambe, known as Reggie Lambe, is a midfielder who joined Rovers on loan from Ipswich Town at the end of the 2010–11 season. He was the only player signed during Stuart Campbell's stint as caretaker boss in 2011, and was used mainly as a substitute, starting just one of his seven games for The Gas.

He is a full Bermudan international and has scored four goals in a game against St Martin in the 2008 Caribbean Championships. As of May 2011, these are his only national team goals to date.

Career[]

Reggie came through the Ipswich Town youth system, making his debut for their first team in a League Cup game against Shrewsbury Town in August 2009. It was a further year before he played again, but he started three League Cup games for The Tractor Boys and came on as a substitute in two Championship games during the 2010–11 season before joining Rovers on loan in March. He was released at the end of that season, and stated his desire to sign a permanent contract with The Gas.

Newly appointed Rovers manager Paul Buckle handed a trial to Lambe during the 2011–12 pre-season, but decided against offering him a contract. Lambe's next move was to join Newport County on trial, followed by an attempt to earn a deal with Southend United, but neither club rewarded him with a contract. It wasn't until 7 December that he finally found himself a new club, when he signed for Major League Soccer side Toronto FC.
