Goalkeeper Conrad Logan was the hero when his second penalty save in as many games in the 87th minute enabled Rovers to cling on to the three points, after a Will Hoskins goal had taken the lead for The Pirates 25 minutes earlier.

Hoskins had capitalised on a poor back pass to chip the ball over Stuart Nelson in the County goal, giving caretaker boss Stuart Campbell his second win in his third game in charge.
