Lewis Hogg is a midfielder who came through the Rovers youth system, breaking into the first team squad in the 1999-00 season. He didn't make any first team appearances in his first season as a pro, but became a regular in the Rovers midfield in his second year, and was given the club captaincy by boss Garry Thompson. He remained with the club until being released in the summer of 2003, whereupon he joined Conference side Barnet for half a season.
In all, he played 74 league and 17 cup games for Rovers, scoring three times in the league and three in cup competition.
Post-Rovers career[]
Lewis joined Barnet in 2003, and spent half a season playing for them, before dropping down a division to join Weston-super-Mare in December 2003. He spent two and a half years at Weston, making a total of 103 appearances and scoring twelve goals, until joining Bath City in 2006.
After six years with The Romans Lewis turned down the offer of a new contract from them in 2012, opting instead to join Gloucester City.
