On 19 January 2010 Rovers finally ended a seven-game losing streak away from home, taking their first point on the road since September 2009. The omens going into the game weren't good for Rovers with not only that losing streak hanging over their heads, but also the fact that Rovers hadn't won in Huddersfield since 1989, and Huddersfield Town had the best home record this season in League One. In spite of all that, The Pirates managed to hold out for a point and keep a clean sheet.
