On 27 October 2007 Bristol Rovers traveled to Gillingham for a League One clash at the Priestfield Stadium. It was a dramatic game that saw the lead change hands three times, culminating in an 89th-minute winner for the Gills.

Included in the Gillingham lineup was future Rovers loanee Chris Dickson, making just his eighth appearance in the Football League. His goal one minute from time proved to be the decider, and was only his second goal in League football.
