Danny Senda joined Rovers on a short-term deal in February 2011, signed by short-lived manager Dave Penney in an ultimately unsuccessful bid to avoid relegation from League One. He made fifteen appearances for the club, all in the league, before being released at the end of the 2010–11 season.

Career[]

After serving his apprenticeship with Southampton Danny joined Wycombe Wanderers in 1999. He spent over seven years with the Chairboys, making 306 appearances in all competitions, 277 of which were in the league, before moving to Millwall in 2006 where he played 76 league games, scoring once before injury problems saw him sidelined for over two years. He joined Torquay United in 2010, but left the club in January 2011 after making little impact on the first team, playing just three games for them. He was picked up by Rovers as a free agent a month later and after being released at the end of the season he signed a one-year deal with Barnet.

He continued training with Barnet following the expiry of his contract after having missed a sizeable chunk of the 2011–12 season through injury, attempting to regain his fitness. He eventually called time on his career in February 2013 having played a total of 388 league games for five different clubs.

After 16 fantastic years playing the game I love, I have decided to retire. I would like to thank every Manager, player, fitness/medical team, and supporters for all the great memory's I will take with me. Most of all I'd like to thank all my Family & friends for the unconditional support they have given me through the good and bad times along the way.
