Goalie Conrad Logan joined Rovers on loan from Leicester City in February 2011. He was signed by short-lived manager Dave Penney to provide an alternative to Luke Daniels, who was himself on loan at the club and who had conceded a disappointing 28 goals in his 9 games between the sticks for The Gas. Logan immediately supplanted Daniels in the starting eleven and went on to play in every one of Rovers' games until the end of the 2010–11 season, making 16 appearances in all before heading back to Leicester.
Career[]
Conrad is a graduate of the Leicester City academy, which he joined after having been spotted by a Leicester scout while playing youth team football for Swilly Rovers in his native Ireland in 2000. He made the progression into Leicester's professional ranks in 2004 and is now their longest-serving player.
Although he has spent his whole career with The Foxes, most of his league appearances have come while on loan at other clubs. His first temporary deal came late in 2005 when he joined Boston United for ten games, before re-joining The Pilgrims later in the same season to replace ex-Rovers man Michel Kuipers who had also been on loan at York Street.
He spent the whole of the 2007–08 season on loan at Stockport County, and spent six months with Luton Town during the following campaign as well as having a brief second spell at Stockport. It was a further two years before his sixth loan spell, this time with Bristol Rovers, and he then spent the first half of the 2011–12 season at Rotherham United.
