On 26 January 2008 Rovers played in the fourth round of the FA Cup for the second consecutive season. The game against Barnet at Underhill came just four days after beating Fulham on penalties in a third round replay.
Barnet v Bristol Rovers[]
The game saw Rovers win 1-0 at Underhill, thanks to a Rickie Lambert goal early in the second half and a second-minute penalty save by Steve Phillips, earning them a birth in the fifth round draw. It was the first time since 1999 that The Pirates reached the fifth round, when they played Barnsley.
