Haagsche Football Club Alles Door Oefening Den Haag, abbreviated to simply ADO Den Haag, are a Dutch side that Rovers are due to play in the pre-season of the 2008-09 season. The game was set to be the first Rovers game at their temporary home at Whaddon Road, but after a delay to the redevelopment of the Memorial Stadium, it was moved to Bristol.

The game was played on 2 August 2008, it was the fifth game of the 2008-09 pre-season against non-English opposition and ended in a 3-2 win for the Dutch visitors. At half time the score was 1-0 to Den Haag, thanks to a goal by former Ajax forward Richard Knopper. After the break ADO extended their lead when Hursut Meric headed into the net. Rickie Lambert hit back for Rovers quickly to reduce the lead back down to a single goal only a few minutes after ADO's second. The fourth goal of the game came after Steve Phillips was caught dallying on the ball, he was disposessed and brought down the opposition player leading the ref to award a penalty, which was put away by Hans van de Haar. The scoring was completed by Rovers new boy Ben Hunt who slipped the ball into the net when he was put through one on one with the keeper.
